Classic Heavy-Duty Standard Pail Stainless Steel 13 Quart

I purchased the starter pack of this mineral buffet for my herd of approx. 24 dairy goats. Mostly Nigerian Dwarves with a couple of Standard size does in the mix. The story you guys told about the doe that had massive hair loss was what convinced me to try it out. I have two does- a mother and daughter who get what seems to be seasonal hair loss. At first it was balding around the eyes and ears and muzzle. Then last year, it was worse! They looked like terrifying zombie creatures especially after kidding and nursing. I was totally embarrassed for anyone to see them and they didn’t respond to deworming, selenium gel, copper bolus, DE dusting, the loose mineral, supplements, and feed that I put out.

We live in an area with hard mineral water that is proven to bind up more than one thing so I knew there was something to do with that but I was at a loss as to how to address or fix it.

After setting up this mineral feeder station- it was cool to watch which minerals they were diving on and which they were leaving alone. I have reordered three times now after they buzzed through several things. I plan to keep them stocked, and order larger amounts each time as I refill empty feeders. I know it may take time to get everyone leveled out, but I look forward to writing a follow up review a year from now.

This was exactly what I needed. Thanks! Only one warning, I didn't read the description very well and instead focused on the picture. So I thought I was getting a pack of these instead of just one. Definitely my fault since the price is obviously just one, but maybe this will help someone in the future.

When I got my first 2 goats they were already in milk. Since then I’ve skipped kidding season because I was 1. Super busy and not confident I would have the necessary time available for milking and processing, but 2. Because I was anxious about potential deficiencies and not knowing how to quickly and efficiently identify and treat them. NOW I feel SO much more confident that my girls have everything they need. It’s been fascinating watching them cruise from mineral to mineral until they’ve settled on what they need. They’ve already revealed their preference and I’ve already re-ordered larger packages of what they use most.

This was the perfect set to get me going with my EO journey!

My goats love it and this year I didn’t need to give BO-SE to my does or babies at birth because they weren’t low in selenium anymore!

Before we started giving these minerals to our goats, one of them had really bad problems with her skin/fur. It was brittle and even changing to a darker white and did not look good. Fast forward half a year and she is doing so much better!! Her coat is soft and you can see it getting whiter again. Very satisfied with these minerals!

When we started to out the minerals out the goats couldn't wait to check each one. They love it and even the babies are getting what they need. It is interesting to see which minerals they are going for. I really like that they know what they need and can get it with this system. I am a very happy goat owner with very happy goats!

Our goats are enjoying their new mineral buffet. I had a basic combination goat mineral available to them that they barely touched. It is interesting to see the minerals they are consuming. The buffet is just what they need.

The mineral Buffet is such a Brilliant idea and saved me a ton of money and time as I didn’t have to do a lot of research. I just let my goats tell me what they need by choosing their deficiencies.

I have never been disappointed in any product I have gotten from Little Avalon. They are always willing to answer questions and help with knowledge. I trust the EO’s, the minerals and the herbs. I believe she is trying to help other small farms.

My mare has been slightly off - vet said she was fine and so did everyone else but I didn’t agree. I wanted to do a sample first before investing in the larger amount straight from the source. Three days and she had a total glow up! Her needs included Cobalt (lots)and Silicon (some ) and she liked the iodine mineral better than kelp powder. I so appreciate this being an option to help me figure out what my mare needed.

These are my favorite feeding bowls for my rabbits. It’s not expensive which is great because I have 12 rabbits (pet rabbits only) and I like to buy in bulk. It’s the perfect serving size too (I get the 10 ounce).

I ordered this after looking at it for awhile. Goats loved it. Within 1 week had to order 1 mineral, after 2 weeks they were out of 4 more!! I have 7 goats. I've got it set up it both barns. Half in one barn and the other half in the other, only because I have 1 goat that is a jerk and a pig and doesn't like to share.
