It’s so amazing that my goats seek out what they need in their mineral buffet! They’re thriving and content.
As a new goat owner, I read scary articles about everything that could go wrong. I found Little Avalon and ordered the starter kit. My goats follow me to the buffet and even sniff different bags as I'm filling it. They really do pick and choose. Re-ordering is easy. My herd went from 3 to 6 in a year...unintentionally. But they're all happy and healthy. The hardest part was building a buffet the goats wouldn't tear apart. We built one like the suggested cattle panel box, but they topped it over climbing on top. Now it's in the shed, with a slanted roof over the trough. Plastic bins screwed into the trough. And the goats still manage to climb on it. My hubby is pretty smart so they can't knock over or poop in their buffet. I will recommend Little Avalon to any goat owner!
