The Floating De-Icer is designed to keep your stock tank ice-free. The thermostatic control is coupled with thermal feedback to protect the unit from overheating, and to ensure efficient operation. The stainless steel heating element is positioned above the
thermostat for safety in low-water conditions. The completely enclosed float is in a rugged, plastic housing designed to not sink. Recommended for use in 70-100 gallons of water. 6ft cord includes durable anti-rub protector. 

Note: use in a non-metallic tank requires a metal guard to prevent fire danger
(metal guard, Model 88R sold separately). 

LOCKNDRY compatible. 1000 Watts, 120 Volts. 60Hz. UL Listed, CSA Listed. Includes 1 year warranty.
