These are the red top test tubes needed for blood draws when submitting for biosecurity screening, now available in single tube quantities so you don’t have to buy a huge batch to test a few goats!

Because these are available only in bulk packaging, we break them down for you into sizes that make sense for your unique herd! For that reason, and because you can specify any quantity you choose, we will remove this item from its bulk packaging and place it in a zipping storage bag before shipping. It will not ship in manufacturer packaging.

Each tube is 10ml in volume.

Test for Goats that Require Red Top.

  • Bluetongue Virus cELISA: Detection of antibodies to bluetongue virus by competitive enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (cELISA).
  • Bovine Respiratory Syncytial Virus VN: Detection of antibodies to bovine respiratory syncytial virus (BRSV) by virus neutralization.
  • Bovine Viral Diarrhea Virus VN: Detection of antibodies to bovine viral diarrhea virus (BVDV) type 1a by virus neutralization.
  • Brucella abortus 3% Card Test: Detection of antibodies to Brucella abortus, Brucella suis, and Brucella melitensis, causative agents of brucellosis, by card agglutination test method.
  • Canine Parvovirus IFA, IgM: Quantitative detection of IgM antibody levels against canine parvovirus (CPV) by indirect fluorescent antibody (IFA) test method.
  • Caprine Abortion Serologic Panel: Detection of antibodies to Toxoplasma, Coxiella burnetii, Brucella abortus, and bovine viral diarrhea virus (BVDV) type 1a (see individual tests for details).
  • Caprine Respiratory Serologic Panel: Detection of antibodies to bovine parainfluenza 3 (PI3) virus, bovine respiratory syncytial virus (BRSV), bovine herpesvirus (BoHV), bovine viral diarrhea virus (BVDV) type 1a, and caprine arthritis encephalitis virus (CAEV). (See individual tests for details).
  • Corynebacterium pseudotuberculosis (Caseous lymphadenitis) SHI: Detection of antibodies to the exotoxin of Corynebacterium pseudotuberculosis, causative agent of caseous lymphadenitis, by synergistic hemolysin inhibition (SHI) test method.
  • Coxiella burnetii (Q-fever) ELISA: Detection of antibodies to Coxiella burnetii, causative agent of Q-fever, by enzyme-linked immunoassay (ELISA).
  • Infectious Bovine Rhinotracheitis Virus VN: Detection of antibodies to bovine herpesvirus (BoHV), the causative agent of Infectious Bovine Rhinotracheitis (IBR), by virus neutralization (VN).
  • Lentivirus Small Ruminant (Caprine Arthritis Encephalitis Virus/Ovine Progressive Pneumonia Virus) cELISA: Detection of antibodies to caprine arthritis encephalitis virus (CAEV) in caprine sera, or ovine progressive pneumonia virus (OPPV) in ovine sera, by competitive enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (cELISA).
  • Malignant Catarrhal Fever Virus cELISA: Detection of antibodies to malignant catarrhal fever (MCF) virus by competitive enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (cELISA).
  • Mycobacterium paratuberculosis (Johne's Disease) ELISA: Detection of antibodies against Mycobacterium paratuberculosis (M. pt.), causative agent of Johne's disease, by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA).
  • Parainfluenza Virus 3 VN: Detection of antibodies to bovine parainfluenza 3 (PI3) virus by virus neutralization (VN) method.
  • Pregnancy Associated Glycoproteins (Pregnancy Test) ELISA: Detection of pregnancy-associated glycoproteins (PAGs) in serum (or EDTA plasma in some species) by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA), as a marker for pregnancy, aiding in early pregnancy detection.
  • Small Ruminant Biosecurity Serologic Panel: Detection of antibodies to Corynebacterium pseudotuberculosis, Mycobacterium paratuberculosis, and caprine arthritis encephalitis virus or ovine progressive pneumonia virus. (See individual tests for details).
  • Toxoplasma IFA: Quantitative detection of IgG antibodies to Toxoplasma gondii, causative agent of toxoplasmosis, by indirect fluorescent antibody (IFA) method.

Worked perfectly but one warning

This was exactly what I needed. Thanks! Only one warning, I didn't read the description very well and instead focused on the picture. So I thought I was getting a pack of these instead of just one. Definitely my fault since the price is obviously just one, but maybe this will help someone in the future.
