My Nigerian Dwarf and Pygmy goats LOVE these and i love there is No soy in them. My alpaca like these, but prefer peppermint-flavored treats.

This mineral buffet has been phenomenal so far and seems to be worth every penny! I’ve considered starting a mineral buffet for a while and decided to jump in, and I’m already so glad I did. My goats love it and it is fascinating to watch them go to seemingly random minerals, but it is exactly the mineral they need. I already need to refill the Silicon and need to top off a few others- none of which are what I would have expected to be eaten first. It’s amazing to see them get exactly what they need. Some of them were very excited and hung around “helping” me unpack the box and fill their mineral cups.

When I first set up a buffet for my goats last summer, I marked each little cup with a Sharpie. To my dismay, the markings wore off, and soon I had no idea where anything went. The cups I had installed turned out to be too fragile for goats, so I recently ordered something that, hopefully, will withstand the Caprine Crew. I also ordered the stainless mineral identification tags. We attached them yesterday, and may I say, they look mighty classy. I am thrilled with the quality, and it's good to know that I will never again have to guess which mineral goes where. My veterinarian will be coming soon to do annual exams and give vaccinations, and I bet she will be impressed to see our new feeders and marvelous tags.
